Gas Blowers

Filters use nameplate maximum values (max airflow at zero static pressure, max static pressure at zero airflow). Check the actual operating point on the performance curve of each model.

Gas Blowers — selection guide

Gas Blowers: 56 models, maximum airflow 87–260 m³/h, static pressure to 4,100 Pa, across 0 series.

Gas blowers supply combustion air to premix and forced-draft burners: 56 FL-series models from 87 to 260 m³/h at static pressures up to about 4,100 Pa, with 34–300 W motors on 230 / 220 V and 115 V AC, and 12 / 24 V DC versions for modulating control. The model code carries the frame and airflow class — FL085034Y is the 85 mm frame, 34 m³/h class.

The pressure capability is what sets this family apart from ordinary compact blowers: a condensing boiler must push air through the burner, heat exchanger and flue, and the blower curve has to cover the maximum firing rate with margin for heat-exchanger fouling.

How to select from this range

  1. Select by the burner pressure drop at maximum firing rate plus flue resistance, with margin for ageing of the heat exchanger.
  2. Modulating burners need DC or EC versions with PWM control and tacho feedback; single-stage burners can use AC.
  3. Match the outlet flange and venturi interface to the burner; adapter plates are available.
  4. State the air-inlet temperature and the sealed-combustion requirement of the installation.

Where these fans are used

  • Condensing gas boilers
  • Gas water heaters
  • Premix burners and industrial heaters

Every figure above is measured on our own test rigs per AMCA 210 / ISO 5801 methods — see the test labs and certificates. Final selection is confirmed at the duty point and by project validation.

FAQ — Gas Blowers

What pressure can the gas blowers develop?

Up to about 4,100 Pa static pressure at low airflow; the curve on each model page shows the pressure available at your firing-rate airflow.

Can the blower be modulated with the burner?

DC and EC models accept PWM control and return a tacho signal so the boiler controller can hold the air-to-gas ratio across the modulation range.

Do you match the blower to a specific burner?

Yes. Send the burner model, firing range and flue length; we match blower, flange and control interface and ship samples in 1–3 days.
