DC axial cooling fans are the 627-model core of the compact range: frames 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 92, 120, 172 and 200 mm, thicknesses 10 to 60 mm, on 5, 12, 24 and 48 V. The busiest series are LWAD8025 (57 variants), LWAD12038 (48), LWAD9225 (42), LWAD8038 (36) and LWAD12025 (33) — the standard frames for power supplies, inverters and cabinets. Frames are UL94 V-0 plastic; ball-bearing versions are standard for continuous duty, sleeve-bearing versions available for cost-sensitive appliances.

The speed grade in the code (H / M / L, e.g. LWAD8025HL) trades airflow against noise within one frame; the technical data lists airflow, static pressure, current, speed and sound pressure for each.

How to select from this range

  1. Estimate airflow from heat load (Q ≈ 3 × W / ΔT), add grille and filter resistance, then choose the largest frame that fits at the lowest speed grade that clears the point.
  2. Use 48 V for telecom and server equipment, 24 V for industrial control, 12 V for appliances and PCs, 5 V for USB-powered devices.
  3. Specify PWM, tacho (FG) or alarm (RD) when ordering; they are part of the model code.
  4. Check L10 life at the real ambient: ratings are at 40 °C.

What is the difference between H, M and L speed grades?

Same frame and motor, different winding and speed: H gives the highest airflow and noise, L the lowest. A 92 × 25 mm fan spans roughly 60–200 m³/h across the grades.

Do you offer IP-rated cooling fans?

Yes, IP55 / IP68 versions with potted electronics are available on the 40–120 mm frames for outdoor and wash-down equipment; ask for the variant.
