Fan Coil Units
Metal fan coil units (FCU) for chilled / hot water terminal systems: horizontal and vertical, exposed and concealed, plus cassette types. Final selection is confirmed at the duty point (airflow / static pressure / voltage / control mode) and by project verification.

Fan Coil Units — selection guide
Fan Coil Units: 44 models, maximum airflow 340–2,380 m³/h, AC motors, across 9 series.
LONGWELL fan coil units are chilled-water and hot-water terminal units in nine airflow classes from 340 to 2,380 m³/h (LWFC-340 to LWFC-2380), 52–228 W input on 220 V single-phase. The suffix gives the format: WA horizontal concealed, WM horizontal exposed, LA vertical concealed, LM vertical exposed, KM four-way cassette. All nine classes are available in the horizontal and vertical formats; eight in the cassette format.
The units share the same coil and three-speed motor platform, so a project can mix concealed, exposed and cassette units of the same capacity class.
How to select from this range
- Size by room cooling / heating load at the design water temperatures, then check that medium-speed airflow gives acceptable distribution and noise.
- Concealed units (WA / LA) need external static pressure for the duct and grille — check the ESP rating for the run length.
- Cassette units (KM) suit open-plan spaces with a suspended ceiling; exposed units (WM / LM) where there is no ceiling void.
- Specify the control valve and thermostat interface with the order.
Where these fans are used
- Hotel rooms and offices
- Hospitals and schools
- Residential chilled-water systems
Curves marked “measured” come from our own test rigs per AMCA 210 / ISO 5801 methods; digitised catalogue curves are flagged as such in the selector — see the test labs and certificates. Final selection is confirmed at the duty point and by project validation.
FAQ — Fan Coil Units
What do the LWFC suffixes WA, WM, LA, LM and KM mean?
W = horizontal, L = vertical, K = cassette; A = concealed, M = exposed. LWFC-850WA is the 850 m³/h horizontal concealed unit, LWFC-850KM the 850 m³/h cassette.
Which capacity classes are available?
Nine airflow classes: 340, 510, 680, 850, 1,020, 1,360, 1,700, 2,040 and 2,380 m³/h. Capacity tables at your water temperatures are provided by our engineers.
Are EC-motor fan coil units available?
EC versions with 0–10 V control are offered on request for projects that need lower consumption and finer room control.
