EC Cross Flow Fans
EC cross flow fans combine stepless speed control with low noise for linear chambers that need demand-controlled airflow. Final selection is confirmed at the duty point (airflow / static pressure / voltage / control mode) and by project verification.
EC Cross Flow Fans — selection guide
EC Cross Flow Fans: 30 models, impellers Ø80–150 mm, maximum airflow 450–3,700 m³/h, static pressure to 265 Pa, EC motors, across 30 series.
EC cross flow fans (LWCE) combine a 230 V mains input with stepless speed control and feedback for air curtains, large indoor units and linear chambers that modulate airflow: Ø80 to Ø150 mm, lengths to 1,200 mm, 450–3,700 m³/h. Compared with the AC line they add proportional control and lower part-load consumption; compared with the DC line they run straight from the mains without a power supply.
How to select from this range
- Choose EC where the unit modulates airflow on demand and runs on 230 V mains.
- Use 0–10 V for building controls, PWM for appliance controllers.
- Length follows the discharge opening, as for all cross flow fans.
Where these fans are used
- Air curtains with modulating control
- Large indoor AC units
- Elevator and cabin ventilation
- Linear air supply in equipment
Every figure above is measured on our own test rigs per AMCA 210 / ISO 5801 methods — see the test labs and certificates. Final selection is confirmed at the duty point and by project validation.
