Metal Inline Duct Fans
Metal circular duct fans with high casing strength and temperature tolerance for long-running ventilation mains. Final selection is confirmed at the duty point (airflow / static pressure / voltage / control mode) and by project verification.
Metal Inline Duct Fans — selection guide
Metal Inline Duct Fans: 27 models, impellers Ø100–315 mm, maximum airflow 241–1,839 m³/h, static pressure to 1,030 Pa, DC, AC and EC motors, across 19 series. 27 of them carry a measured P-Q curve and 27 a dimensional drawing.
Metal inline duct fans are the high-pressure end of the duct range: Ø100 to Ø315 mm, 241–1,839 m³/h at 326–1,030 Pa, in a rigid metal casing that tolerates temperature and continuous duty. The line is notable for its DC versions — LWDD100 / 125 / 160 / 200 / 250 on 12 / 24 / 48 V (13 models) for solar, vehicle and telecom installations — alongside LWDA AC and LWDE EC models on 230 V, IP44 or IP55.
How to select from this range
- Use where the run is long, the filter is fine or the air is warm — the metal casing and higher pressure cover what plastic fans cannot.
- Pick DC for off-grid or vehicle systems, EC for controlled ventilation, AC for fixed duty.
- Check IP rating and mounting orientation on the drawing.
Where these fans are used
- Long ventilation mains
- Solar and off-grid ventilation
- Vehicle and container ventilation
- Warm-air and drying ducts
Every figure above is measured on our own test rigs per AMCA 210 / ISO 5801 methods — see the test labs and certificates. Final selection is confirmed at the duty point and by project validation.
FAQ — Metal Inline Duct Fans
Which duct fans are available in DC?
LWDD100, 125, 160, 200 and 250 in 12, 24 and 48 V — the only DC inline duct fans in the catalogue.
How much pressure do metal duct fans reach?
Up to about 1,000 Pa on the Ø200–315 mm sizes, roughly twice the plastic-cased fans of the same diameter.
