Single Inlet Forward Curved Blowers
Single inlet forward curved (multi-vane) blowers with scroll housing: compact and easy to integrate into equipment with a single-sided inlet chamber. Final selection is confirmed at the duty point (airflow / static pressure / voltage / control mode) and by project verification.

Single Inlet Forward Curved Blowers — selection guide
Single Inlet Forward Curved Blowers: 73 models, impellers Ø120–315 mm, maximum airflow 165–5,150 m³/h, static pressure to 989 Pa, DC, AC and EC motors, across 30 series. 64 of them carry a measured P-Q curve and 73 a dimensional drawing.
Single inlet forward curved blowers put a multi-vane impeller in a scroll housing with one open inlet, for equipment where only one side of the fan can be fed with air. The line runs from Ø120 to Ø315 mm on all three platforms — LWFD3G120 / 133 / 140 / 160 / 180 DC (28 models, 24 / 48 / 310 V), LWFE3G120–250 EC (21 models) and LWFA AC (24 models) — with galvanised-steel or PA66 scroll housings.
They are the blowers inside gas boilers, air curtains, heaters, compact heat-recovery units and ventilation boxes: small envelope, single flange to connect and a stable curve at 200–1,000 Pa.
How to select from this range
- Rate on total pressure at the outlet flange; the scroll outlet is the only connection point.
- Specify the discharge orientation and rotation (LG / RD) from the drawing — single inlet housings are handed.
- Choose PA66 housings for weight and cost, galvanised steel for temperature and continuous duty.
- DC (LWFD3G) versions are the choice for boiler and DC-link equipment; EC for 230 V modulating duty.

Which single inlet blowers are DC?
28 models: LWFD3G120, 133, 140, 150, 160 and 180 in 24 V, 48 V and 310 V with PWM control and tacho feedback.
How do I specify the housing orientation?
Give the rotation direction seen from the drive side and the discharge angle from the drawing on the model page; standard orientations ship from stock, others are made to order.
What is the difference between the steel and PA66 housings?
Galvanised steel (21 models) for higher temperature and continuous industrial duty; PA66 (31 models) for lower weight and cost in appliances.
